Precautions for crane operations
1. Preparation before operation
Operators must go through professional training, obtain the corresponding operation qualification certificate, familiar with the performance of the crane, operating procedures and safety precautions.
Carry out a comprehensive inspection of the crane, including mechanical components, electrical systems, safety devices, etc., to ensure that it is in good working condition. For example, check whether the hook is cracked and deformed, whether the wire rope is broken and worn, and whether the brake system is sensitive and reliable.
Understand the working environment and work tasks, determine the working position and lifting route of the crane, and remove obstacles in the working area.
Two, the main points in the operation
Operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures, follow the command signal, shall not operate without authorization. In the operation process, to maintain attention, not chatting, playing mobile phones and other distractions.
Control the lifting speed and lifting weight, it is strictly prohibited to overload lifting. For example, for a crane with a rated lifting weight of 10 tons, heavy objects exceeding 10 tons must not be lifted.
During the lifting process, the weight should be kept stable to avoid shaking, rotating and other unstable situations. When lifting large objects, the traction rope should be used for control.
In case of bad weather, such as strong wind, heavy rain, lightning, etc., the operation should be stopped. Strong winds can cause the crane to lose balance, heavy rain can affect the line of sight and the electrical performance of the equipment, and lightning is a safety hazard.
Third, the use of safety devices
Ensure that all kinds of safety devices, such as limiters, overload limiters, anti-collision devices, etc., work properly and shall not be removed or adjusted at will.
Check and maintain safety devices regularly, and deal with problems in time.
Fourth, maintenance and maintenance
Maintenance of the crane according to the specified time and requirements, including lubrication, fastening, cleaning and other work.
For vulnerable parts, such as wire ropes, hooks, brake pads, etc., regular inspection and replacement.
5. Accident handling
In the event of an accident, the operation should be stopped immediately, the site should be protected, and the superior and relevant departments should be reported in time.
Cooperate with accident investigation, analyze accident causes, summarize experience and lessons, and take measures to prevent similar accidents from happening again.
In short, the correct operation and maintenance of the crane is the key to ensure safe production and improve work efficiency. Only by strictly observing the relevant regulations and precautions can accidents be effectively avoided and the safety of personnel and equipment be guaranteed.
